The title pretty much says it, our institution require the allow_url_fopen setting to be off. This prevents PubMed downloads. Other modules seem to all be using Curl for the same functionality. Is there any chance that a fix is in the works?

Ok, there seem to be enough people out there in the same situation, so I'll use an alternate method such as Curl.

Remind me again if this is not implemented in a month or two.
