As manager admin for Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian groups at l.d.o from a discussions at http://drupaler.ru and groups users we need to create polls for groups decisions about translation variants.
Can You install poll module for Poll content variant?

It is certainly a controversial issue - choose a translation variant through a poll. But if a group of translators have agreed to do so, then it should have such an opportunity. +1

Its fine. I don't necessarily agree that solving translation issues by polls is a good idea, but if you think so, feel free. Added. @aries: on reusing external services, if its on-site, it surely can be referenced later, unlike referencing an external site, which might or might not go away.

Yes, administrators in groups should already had the permission to create new polls, but I gave that to everybody authenticated now. Also, to edit your own polls and see results :) I think it should be there in the group with the other create content links. It was there for me, but I'm an overall admin, so let me know if there are still permission issues.
