Im not sure of the title but this is whats going on.

Beta1: we have two themes rubik and our own theme, rubik back-end, our theme front-end. When we visited admin/build/block, we saw our theme with the blocks UI. So basically what you'd expect to see.

But now with Beta2: when visiting admin/build/block, we see the rubik theme with the blocks UI in the rubik theme. Ok, now that isn't directly a problem. The issue here is that we don't even see the regions of our theme, only the 'core' regions. Left, right, content, foot etc etc but not our regions.

This is pretty critical because now we can't use blocks with the rubik theme. When deleting the rubik folder from sites/all/themes every thing works as expected.

Not sure if its relevant, but we do not use rubik theme for editing nodes, so this option is not checked.

Ok switching back to version = "6.x-2.0-beta4" the block UI works as expected, showing the blocks ui in our theme and with our regions.

removed all folder of rubik. re-downloaded latest rubik. re-installed latest rubik. everything works again.

This is still happening for me and the downloads for 6.x-2.0 are no longer available, I don't think.

I've removed, I've reinstalled, I've cleared the cache - everything - but admin/build/blocks is still showing the rubik regions. :/

I believe the 6.x-2.0 is not supported, so my suggestion is to upgrade.Downgrading priority given that it's no longer supported. Updating the title to make it more clear that this is about a version that is not hosted ond.o and not supported in the Version dropdown.
