Is there anyway to integrate this module with smart crop. The dream scenario would be that if a selection is not made with Imagefield Focus, then Smart Crop would be used as a catch all. This could give end users the best of both worlds.

See the todo list on the project page:
this will be possible once I've added the option to leave the image unchanged if no focus data is available.
Smartcrop could process the image then if set after Focus Scale And Crop.

New! Integrates with Smart Crop
By default, Focus Scale And Crop performs a standard Scale and Crop when no focus data is available for the image. But if the Smart Crop module is available, an extra option will show up allowing you to set Scale and Smart Crop as the fallback action instead.

What would be great is a handbook/tutorial with some concrete cases showing what can be done with ImageField Focus and ImageField Focus + Smart Crop.
