Turning on the VPN, I found I could create sites, but that they were always 404'd. It would be fantastic if DNSMasq caught the .localhost entries before it reached the VPN so I could ignore it.

About 30 seconds of research got this random mailing list entry which had some interesting implications for how to resolve this.

Grayside commentedLooking into it closer, it appears the dnsmasq configuration already has clear-on-reload to provide VPN compatibility. Therefore this should properly be a bug request... but for some reason today what I was seeing much of last week is no longer the case.
