This is a CSS/theming thing, the block ID is different but the markup is identical.

CORRECTION: I misunderstood "last" to mean view all committers. Mikey_p's fix should fix this.

Just reviewed this, the css is identical, color size etc. So I don't think this is still an issue, and the cvs css for the maintainer's block is block specific. Since we are pulling these in from views and everything appears to be the same between the drupal.org block and the git-dev I'm marking this closed (cannot reproduce)
