Use imagefield functionality instead of current for image uploading

Hi,
Because option-image is an add on to Ubercart, it would be great if it would fluently work with Ubercart product nodetype (and classes). Now image uploading is done in its own folder /option_images and working is not integrated with imagefield cck.
I would very much like uc_option_image to work just as the product images and as subsidiary when somebody selects this option.

The use case is the following: I am building a fashion eshop, and when a visitor selects another color of a dress, all product pictures of this dress needs to be changed in this particular color.
Therefore I need:
- multiple option image upload possibility (this can be handled when cck imagefield would be integrated).
- posibility to change all product pictures with multiple pictures of the option.

Next to this imagefield has already views support and using imagefield should also make it easier to make a gallery of all option pictures with clicking, going to the right product in the right color!

Thanks a lot in advance for considering this as near-future direction. I am in the process of bounty-ing this functionality.
