Hi!

On their frontpage Acquia (acquia.com) has a slideshow at the top. You can click on each image and also click on six round icons to switch to another slide. I want the exact same setup. Could anyone tell me which module would work best for this aim?

That's done with this module: http://drupal.org/project/rotating_banner
I see that they don't have a stable release yet. But if you click on releases, you can see the available downloads. There is a beta1 and dev. But drupal 7 only.

But you could use views slideshow to have the same effect.
