About half the time the chat loads fine. Other times is loads only a blank chat window with basic controls (no smileys), does not request a username, and will not load or post messages. There is no way to predict this behavior and it occurs with equal frequency between IE & Firefox.

I've discovered that clearing the chat log results in a successful reload. Perhaps there is a problem with the sessions or cache?

This looks like a bug in the phpfreechat script, rather than this module.

I have just committed some major rewriting of the file-path code to the 4.7 branch, and also added a Drupal 5.0 version of the module. Please try this version and report back how you get on!

NOTE: This version _only_ works on the (yet to be released) beta 9 of phpfreechat - and will not work with beta 8 or less. You will need to checkout the latest phpfreechat version from SVN. See module INSTALL.txt for more details.
