for Switzerland you could use the same dates as for German and add:
- Nationalfeiertag 1. August (first day in the 8. month)

i added the switzerland holidays. I removed the 3rd october and added the first august.

There is still some work open on the holidays, because it is still not possible to enter half day holidays like the 24th december.
And it should be possible to select each holiday in the installation because not every holiday is available in each region.

Just found out that the canton of Lucerne has a unique holiday called "St. Leodegar".

I made a patch for the storm_holidays_switzerland module containing this holiday.
