Kia ora koutou,

I have recently upgraded a website www.aucklandanimalaction.org.nz from Drupal 4.5.x to 4.7.4.

I ran update.php, I uploaded the latest modules, and I ran image-update.php (which just left me with a blank page).

The website no longer has any photos attached. (As you can see, it just has the node name.)

I also receive the error "img_assist/gen/X" not found.

I also transfered this site from mysql 4.0 to 4.1 and php 4.X to php 5.2.

I would really appreciate some help. The website has been down for over a week now without images.

Thank-you for your help,

I would be willing to provide $ if necessary.

It might be that your file system settings may need to be tweaked. Trying looking at admin/settings under file system and making sure that your files directory exists and is writable.

I have the same problem as you about the images no longer showing except it only seems to occur for non-logged in users. I would have thought this would be an acess permission problem. It seems to be related to img_assist in that the image galleries still show correctly. I've have allowed all access permissions on the img_assist module for non-logged in users but it still does not seem to allow images to be shown. This may be related to this issue http://drupal.org/node/66635.

You have a different problem. I can't see them, no one can see them. Image nodes do not have images available for anyone. Thanks though.

In the mysql file, it correctly points out to the local of the images: "images/alf-39.gif" for example. I can load that file if I point to it (www.aucklandanimalaction.org.nz/images/alf-39.gif)

As stated before, have you found a fix for this issue since your images are showing on your site? If so, can you please explain in steps?
