I'm trying to call the mysite content into my user_profile.tpl.php file. I've looked at the mysite_page and the mysite_view functions, but niether seem to work how I want them to. I've also tried to copy some of the theming code directly into the file, but still not right.
Is there a function that will just call the mysite div into the page where the function is placed? Or is there some code such as
print theme('mysite_'. $mysite->layout . '_layout', $content);
The above line seems closest to the solution, but I still have to load data into the content variable.
Any direction is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

agentrickardNo, there isn't. This isn't a feature that I expected would be wanted.
The issue is that there is no abstract function to get the $content for you (otherwise, your code should work). The routine you are looking for is lines 471-509 of mysite.module (v 1.1.2.18). But that routine isn't meant to be embedded in other page views.
This does seem like a reasonable feature, but I have closed development on the 4.7 branch. All new features are going into v5.
