i wonder if the D6 version of auth cache could be reshaped to support this cache.inc implementation from D7.

i've also notified cache router project

In the apparent absence of Jonah Ellison, it looks like I might be becoming the defacto maintainer of Authcache. Since I don't actually use D6 for any of my sites, I'd be looking for some kind of sponsorship / encouragement / feedback to do any extensive work on the D6 version.

I'm trying to get the issue queue under control, so I'm going to close this issue, but you're welcome to re-open if you have any feedback.

i guess then the approach would be won't fix.
anyways, looking more for a D7 release ;)
