I'm setting up a Drupal setup for a news, calendar, downloads and membership portal for a non-profit youth cadet organisation.
What I need is the ability for users of different groups to be able to register for events.
A simple request.... well not quite...
1) What I have in mind is the ability for specific events only to be accessible by a specific userclass. I.e. the organisation is separated into Squadrons: Alpha Squadron members can only nominate for events set up for Alpha Squadron and Bravo Squadron members can only nominate for events for Bravo Squadron. So in other words I need events to have the ability to be accessible to particular user groups only.
2) Moderators will be selected from each of these Squadrons (user groups) to carry out all of the event submission and set up all the options of who can register for the event, how many can register,etc. In other words I dont want all the the work only to be done by administrator, rather given to the moderators.
3) Now, I need the moderators to be able to see the members which have registered for each EVENT however I want them only to be able to see their managing user group NOT every event in the calendar.
Can you please suggest any suitable modules which would allow these features. I have looked at signup, volunteer, and volunteer timeslots. I was impressed by the volunteer module HOWEVER it doesnt seem to be compatible with 4.7 with several errors coming up with civicrm. If anyone has any successful experiences under 4.7 with the volunteer module I would be interested in finding out how they managed to do it.
