is there any plans to port this to D7? I'm looking at several modules/rules, etc....and wondering if this might be a solution....I'm not certain we'll use this - which is why I put it as minor priority, but from the notes and comments, this looks very promising. Our data structure is very much like a 'relational database' and node-reference fields are commonplace.... therefore data entry very often requires filling in a 'node reference' field before the target node exists - this seems like it would be perfect. thanks, C

Have you any news to port this module in D7 release. Currently, there is no equivalent module for D7. It is highly anticipated. Could you let us know if there are any plans to switch to the D7 version.

This stuff is certainly needed and will probably be a bit cleaner architecturally wise, wish somebody had the time to stand up and help :)
