Dependent Fields & content profile

You'll need to be a bit more specific about what doesn't work.

I think his point may be using Content Profile on Registration Form, where changing the controller field doesn't populate the fields on the controlled one (Showing an error that used to said that the form wasn't loaded on the form, and recommended reloading the page). Now, when trying to register on mi site that I'm working on (http://ofasistec.disign.cl/) the controlled field is populated with all the options, but the controller one doesn't show up at all. If you want I can give you an admin acc or info if you tell me how to do it.

By the way, the fields works well on the profile editing page, so it's something that fails only on the Registration page.

Got a similar problem here with content profile and user registration.

The field shows up, but no matter what value is selected in the controller text drop down it always sends the same delta back in the url /dependent_fields/callback/profile/field_region/0 - 0 never changes.

So the dependant field fades out and back in after the ajax call is completed, but the options of the node ref list remain the same.

I haven't tested this at all on the registration form, so it doesn't surprise me that it doesn't work. I hope to be able to spend some quality time on this module again shortly and this is one issue I will look at resolving.

I do intend to work on this module again, but haven't had much time for it recently so I can't give any idea on when it will be ready for production.

Hi I just wanted to second the request to look at this issue.
I too am having exactly the same issue as the original poster.
I have created a content type called "Profile" that uses your Dependant fields module. When I go to Create Content -> Profile the dependant fields works like a charm exactly how I want it to.
However I am using another module called "Content Profile" to link my "Profile" content type to my user registration form. When the "Profile" form is being filled out as part of the user registration it doesn't work.
When you choose a controller field the little timer spins and then dependant fields fade in and out like they normally do but the content of those fields does not change it just continues to show all available options.

I hope it's not any sort of insult or undervaluation on my part but I would be willing to pay you $100 to look at this quickly for me. I really need this to work.

I've moved on from Drupal Development work now, and so unfortunately i need to abandon this module. If anyone is interested on reviving it, please let me know through my contact form.
