Hi,

I have several Drupal sites working together with Domain Access (and DA Advanced). There are some additional user roles (author, manager) which can be different in each site (the user who is a manager in one site can be a normal author in another site) - this is successfully done with prefixing the table "user_role". With TAC, I control the visibility of nodes that are public, for authors/managers or only for managers. This works fine.

Now, I want to use a forum on each site. I've installed Domain Taxonomy, done the DA-configuration (Vocabulares without domain access rules: Forums / Share this vocabulares to all affiliates by default: Forums ) and restricted the forum terms (container+forum) to the correspondig domains. The first result: No forums are available for all users. Ok, I have to grant access via Taxonomy Access - this is done by checking the "List"-Checkbox in each role. Now the Result: The correct forums are visible (the manager forum only for managers and the author forum for authors/managers), but from all domains! The domain specific filter of terms doesn't work.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

Regards,
Oliver

Hi

The above info was very helpful.

I was able to set up Domain Taxonomy to get the forums and containers to show only in specific domains!

A few notes on the instructions:
Vocabularies without domain access rules: Forums is UNCHECKED
Share this vocabulary to all affiliates by default: Forums is UNCHECKED
Then, to restrict the forum terms (containers and forums) to the corresponding domains: you have to edit each term and select the desired domains the term will show in.

The problem that remains is: if you add a new forum or container from admin/structure/forum, you don't get the option to assign the new forum or container to specific domains as you are creating the forum or container. Instead, you have to go to admin/structure/taxonomy/forums and find the term for the forum/container you just added and then do the domain assignment by editing the term. All forums and container names show in the forums taxonomy. Would be nice if the forums taxonomy term listing told you which domain(s) each term belongs to.

And would be nice if, when you were editing the terms in the forums taxonomy, you saw only those terms that were in the domain of the site you are in (instead of all terms across all domains).
