We have a site that is using this and we continuously exceed the 1000 requests per IP. It would be great to add a caching layer to this to avoid these timeouts, especially since the addresses dont change that often

I think you have close to 50 sites and that's why the IP hits the limit so quickly. Anyway when we run out of features to add to the sites, yell down the hall and we'll get this moving.
