Hello,

I recently installed D7 for my new website. After playing with Field and Content type, I found out that adding 'body' field to an existing Content type will make the trimmed 'body' display incorrectly. It actually display nothing at all. I tried every possible way I can think of but none of them work. The content types created with the 'body' field have no problem. Can this be a bug or am I missing something?

Confirmed. Have the same issue.
Using 'Summary or trimmed' would only display the 'body' field if there was a summary (body field split with a teaser-break).

Hi just wanted to know if this has been declared a bug?
Has this been raised? I'm publishing D7 on a prod site and am migrating some few settings.. Need to check if the Trim Unlimited option can be changed as done earlier in D6.20 under post settings in content administrator.
