Well, I've made it through many setup issues, and mailhandler has been the worst of them. I am a Dreamhost customer and have recompiled PHP5 on my server and figured out how to configure for Dreamhost's servers (the secret, by the way, for any searching is to use the "/notls" command in mailhandler, AND to use your actual user name in Dreamhost (e.g. m193705) NOT your email address as the login.
So, now mailhandler will accept and process my emails, but none of them actually gets accepted! I get an email back telling me "The e-mail address 'info@example.com' may not create story items."
But the email address is associated with the admin account, and I've even tried setting up a new account with another email address and sending from that one.
Does anyone know how I can get my emails accepted?
