Droptor currently checks for page compression at the Drupal level (Performance configuration screen) and the web server level (HTTP headers). If either or both are enabled then the page compression checklist item is passed.

Some Drupal users have reported problems resulting from both settings being enabled. Droptor could provide a warning if both were enabled.
