I've begun resubmitting some updated data that I had previously submitted. It seems that tags that were once specific entities (e.g. Medical Conditions) are now being tagged under Social Tags, if at all.

An even more interesting result is that if I only submit a specific paragraph, the medical condtions and social tags are set; however, if I submit the entire entry, only the Social Tags are set and these might not include all the medical conditions.

I'm not sure if this is a Calais issue in general or Drupal in particular.

Yes, I've noticed this as well. Entities are not returned as often as they used to be, yet on the other hand there are tons of Social Tags, which in my opinion are not as useful.

I think this is a calais issue. I will talk to my rep at Thomson Reuters to see if I can find out. For now the best I can tell is this works as intended
