I just recently moved my site to Drupal, found a topic here with instructions on how to do it, and I think I succeeded in the transfer process... The question is, after testing the site for a day and finding the it is working as it should be, should I now delete all the HTML files from my old site, because now, they are both sitting inside the same folder...

Any advuce would be highly appreciated... Thanks

As long as you have the data in your drupal installation, its performing as it should and your happy with it, i see no reason to have both static and dynamic content duplication each other.

However i would advise an offsite backup of your HTML files incase you change your mind or encounter problems later on.

Would you please post a link to the technote, that brought you HTML importing success. I'm very curious how you did it. I've had 'mostly' success with the import HTML module, but if there's another way to do it, I'm interested in trying that too.

Actually I did not use any module in transfering the site, I think I just did an over write, It was still a small site www.securedcreditcards.be, it's new, so I did not have that much to transfer, I just had to create a new drupal site on one of my sub-domain, and after I have copied and pasted all the contents on the appropriate pages to Drupal, I copied everything from my sub-domain folder and pasted them all on the actual domain... At one time, the HTML and PHP are both sitting on the same domain, but Drupal is just seeing the PHP index.... So after I'm convinced that everything is working as it should be, I deleted all the files as suggested up there... Now the page is running OK, I think...

But don't just go around on copying and deleting, try to search around here and you'll eventually find something which will help you.

I'll try and find again the thread where I followed the instruction and post it here for you...
