Minutes 5.0 rc1 upgrade

does this work on 5.x? has anybody tested since it was released? why hasnt it at least been committed to HEAD?

Hi! This hasn't been committed for a few reasons:

1) I haven't had the time to learn how to properly branch/tag/whatever CVS to create a 5.x-? branch.

2) I don't have 5.x up and running yet, because I've been backlogged for the last few months with many other projects for work (including but not limited to traveling for most of November and December).

3) I was going to finally be able to start looking at these issues this last week, but then I got impaneled on a jury and only finally just got back, so now I'm backlogged again.

It may be another week or so before I can finally clear out the space I need to deal with this.

I'm sorry that this is taking so long; the past three-odd months have been very busy, stressful, and difficult, and I have not been able to spend the time needed to do much programming at all.

This patch has been applied (well, modulo changes since this was made). It seems to work in the two minutes of testing I've done.
