Move data from dr5 to dr6

Hi to all
my current drupal website developed by dr5 and i want to move all contents from drupal 5 to drupal 6 without upgrading DR5 to DR6.
i tried some ways, but they didn't work properly.
what's the best solution for doing this ?
any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
