I just installed the Colorbox module. Now, when I go into my custom content type and add an image field, and then go to "Manage Display" for my fields to change the "Format" for a field to "Colorbox," all I get is a little spinning image that looks like a second hand on a watch spinning around, and nothing ever happens. My installation is pretty stock Drupal 7 on a very stock LAMP platform, with just the customary add-on modules, like Chaos Tools, LDAP, SMTP Authentication, CKEditor, IMCE, and Views. What gives? I just want to set up a simple photo gallery. Please help! Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

same problem
ditto ... everything was going smoothly as I followed along while watching this screencast about setting it up. then the clock just kept spinning as I tried to switch the format setting from image to colorbox.
I installed v beta2
UPDATE: I see the same issue is detailed here. I suspect my problem is with the install of the plugin. Will review that right now.
UPDATE 2: My drupal installation didn't have a "libraries" folder in the sites/all directory (it had only "modules," "themes" and a readme file in it). I thought this would be an easy fix because I realized I had mistakenly named a new folder "library" instead of "libraries." But, unfortunately, changing the name of the folder hasn't fixed the problem.
I checked in the advanced settings of the module to make sure that the "path to colorbox" settings matched the file hierarchy, and it's a match.
Any suggestions?
UPDATE 3: Not sure why, but I just went back and tried it again — after doing nothing new but waiting a few minutes — and it worked.
