I would like to suggest that the community can vote on and review modules and themes. It would also be great if we could, somehow, say that "people who downloaded this theme, also downloaded these".

This sort of information would be absolutely valuable to people and it would make it easier to go through all the modules and themes and find the ones that most people are using.

At the same time, it wouldn't detract from being able to find obscure modules and less-liked themes. They'd still be there, just with less votes.

I'm building my business around Drupal so I have a vested interest in its rapid growth and up-take in the market. I hope this helps.

Overall, a user vote and reviews module will be a great addition.

While some developers may estimate the value of themes/modules for themselves, such a module can be used for a much largery variety of sites.

Anyone knows about such a module or plans to develop it?

http://drupalmodules.com/ is a site that kind of does this. It seems they try to mirror all the Drupal modules list here at d.o then add reviews, ratings, & related to them.
