This module needs some serious Documentation.

Install and server configuration went fine.
Made my changes at:
admin/settings/subdomain/
admin/settings/subdomain/filters
admin/settings/subdomain/tools

Then what???

Do I set anything up at admin/build/path/pathauto?? --I tried as per the readme.txt for 6.x-1.7, then created a node, and it was still the same as before this module. Now what?

I urge anyone reading this to not install 6.x-2.0-beta1 like the homepage of this module says to do. It is an nightmare. Install 6.x-1.7 instead.

Even 1.7 has a lot of major issues

*Edit: I take that back. After installing it again the module seems to have fixed itself.

I had trouble with this too until I went to Subdomain configuration > Tools and clicked on "Generate Subdomains". Now it works beautifully.

It was 1.7 but now I found a cookie problem so I am not going to use this module. V2 works for me but I want more customization of the subdomain aliases.

same as picxelplay, what do i do after changes at admin/settings/subdomain?

I want a user subdomain home like alex.subdomain.com... what i don't know how to continue...

Stick with 1.7. Since the maintainer is mia, I would use the stable version.
