Hi there
I am making some CSS tweaks to the module theme Upright 40p ( views-slideshow-ddblock-cycle-vsd-upright-40p ) and I'm seeing some weirdness I can't account for.
The changes I'm making are to the sizes of images displayed in the slide (height and width), plus the colour and size of the title and text displayed on the slide.
The strange thing is that some of these changes were taking effect. I increased the width of my slide and deleted padding. This displayed fine. I then went back to the file mentioned above, and changed the h2 settings for the title, the weight of the slide text and the colour of the Read More link. The image settings have now stopped working, despite the text changes having taken effect properly.
The weirdest thing is that each alternate time I clear the Page Requisite cache, the display reverts back to how I originally had it, using an older CSS file from a few days ago....
I have cleared caches multiple times, cleared my browsing history, closed and re-opened my browser, viewed with various access levels - yet the changes still don't want to appear.
Any tips on what I am doing wrong would be great. Perhaps the CSS file is not the place to change the image sizes?
Thanks
Derry

ppblaauw commentedDue to lack of time can not offer much support on CSS issues with customizing themes.
Theme layouts are changed in CSS, with use of imagecache its advisable to make an imagecache preset with the same image size used in the slideshow.
When you have a link to your Internet site can have a look though why your changes are not visible.
