Import page as a story

Curently this module allows only importing external pages as book pages. It would be useful to be able to import these pages also as stories.

A specific (and real) example: a news site is restricted to subscribers but I'm authorized to re-publish openly in my site the news relating to subject X if I mention the source. Importpage module would be great to copy the selected news but it is not very convenient since I don't want to create a book page but a story.

I know it's not that different, but maybe it wouldn't be that difficult to add this feature to this useful module.
