hey ... love the vision of the category module but having some headaches related to it ... i'm unclear about some of the issues so I'll put the one I know and then add some messed up results in case anyone has some ideas ;)
Taxonomy Wrapper - I enabled this. Unfortunately I had the installation on a multi-site install and the changing of the taxonomy module in the core modules screwed up the site of a fellow worker. :)
To fix this we copied a taxonomy.module into the specific site/modules directory.
This worked. sort of ... (this is the bug that you might easily be able to deal with i.e. if multi-site instead of changing the core taxonomy.module have it create an override one ..of course i'm no great programmer ;)
but... since this change I've had some weird issues. the main one is this:
content on my site is now only viewable by users who are logged in. Anonymous viewers get the 'welcome to your first drupal install...etc' page. I've tried tweaking Access controls, cac_lite etc.
I've now moved the site off of a multi-site install and have it in it's own location, but same problem.
I've removed the taxonomy wrapper still no deal.
Now of course we were tired and tried doing a lot of things in a pretty sloppy way so we may have just messed it up some other way. But the hope is this resonates with someone and shoots me some ideas back.
Thanks again for working on this module, it definitely makes taxonomy/categorization a lot easier for the users I'm w orking with :)

JirkaRybka commentedClosing the issue, as 4.7.x is no more supported, there's over 2 years no activity, and there's another issue on the wrapper modules vs. multisites: #367686: Taxonomy Wrapper enabled on one site breaks other sites that don't use Category module.
