This module is looking great and I hope to write up how I am going to implement this in a site I'm building right now.
One thing that I'm now realizing is a great feature of the Signup module, is the ability to sign up multiple people at the same time. We are putting on a educational conference and sometimes we'll have organizations wanting to sign up 10 people on the same purchase order. Thinking back to the Signup module, you have the ability to add the tickets you are selling to the shopping cart and it steps you through adding the multiple email addresses that will then become attendees and have accounts on the site.
With your new module, I can add multiple items to the shopping cart, but it does not ask me for the other email addresses of the attendees. It only is listing one email address. Or am I missing something?
thanks,
Dan

Rob_Feature commentedHi there Dan,
Is there a reason you wouldn't just allow multiple email addresses or multiple people's info on the webform? The idea of this module is that you'd use the webform to collect any additional data, besides number of tickets purchased.
Please explain further if there's a reason this won't work for you.

daniel-san commentedWell, let me ask this... if I'm adding emails to the webform, that is not making accounts on the site for those emails, correct?
Here is my scenario. We have an education conference in which there are 4 sessions with multiple workshops to choose from during each session. An attendee registered for the event needs to have an account on the site in order to plan their schedule for the conference and flag sessions they'd like to attend. Generally speaking, a big percentage of attendees would sign themselves up for the event and indicate how they were paying for the conference through Ubercart.
Why Multiple attendees at once?
We also have many school districts that will pay for several of their employees to attend on one purchase order or check. That means the person signing up people may need to go through the signup process multiple times (depending on the number of employees they are sending) with the same order information over and over for each person.
The idea would be to indicate you are purchasing multiple event registrations and then tie that to the same number of site accounts/emails that need to be created during the checkout process.

Anonymous (not verified) commentedMy situation is the same. The number of tickets needs to be the same as the number of accounts created on the site. So we need the same amount of names and e-mail addresses as number of tickets (Quantity).

kathc commentedWe're doing something like that, but we're having organizations pay for x tickets, and then issuing a payment code (coupon) that each of their participants can use when they come to register, so each individual fills in the form, but they don't go to the payment gateway.

daniel-san commentedActually that might be a great solution as well.
We could indicate that any organizations needing to pay for multiple attendees should contact us. We put in the purchase for as many as they need and then create and issue a coupon for the exact number of attendees that can use the coupon code. We are already using the UC Coupon module with this setup and it's working great.

Rob_Feature commentedThanks for the input guys...I THINK you're wanting to do something that this module will never do (ie. it's not really in the vision or the use case it's addressing) which is auto-creating user accounts based on an event registration webform.
This isn't intended to do anything with users at all...it's intended to sell registration tickets for real (ie. offline) events.
I'm going to mark this feature as 'won't fix' but please reopen it if I'm misunderstanding. Thanks!
