The Google translation is not the very best. So if it is possible it is better to translate manually.
Because the translation is not good it is necessary to use buttons so the reader understand that it is a machine translation.
I have a site where some text is translated and some not in a node type.
The translate button get up in both cases. It would be very nice if it were possible to exclude it when the text already is in the right language.
Or perhaps better:
When a translation have been done, the region have a certain format (another background). In that case it was no need for buttons.

Title: Formatting translated regions » Don't show button on a region that is already in the browser's language

I think you're saying that this should not put the button on a region that is already in the browser's language. I think that's a good idea, but it might not be. There are cases (internet cafe, for example) where the browser language and the person's language are not the same.
