I am using 5 RC1 and shipped robot.txt, but I am getting googles web crawlers trying to edit my pages as /node/97/edit?destination=admin/content/node . Please guide me.

The only way for Google's bots to get to that page is if the anonymous user has access to admin/content/node. Test to be sure. If you log out, then go to that path manually, can you access it or do you get a permission denied message? If you don't get a permission denied message, it means that (1) Google can access that page and randomly edit things, (2) ANYONE IN THE WORLD can access that page and randomly edit things, (3) You have your permissions set incorrectly and need to adjust them immediately.

I think my permissions are correct and /admin/content/node is going to 403 page. this is the url
http://findkerala.com/admin/content/node for you to try and guide me. Thanks

Is this still an issue under the 5.0 final release? I couldn't get to that page myself when I tried, which is as it should be. If there is no longer a problem, please close this issue.

I am facing a similar situation, where a google ip 66.249.67.18 is trying to crawl edit pages
/node/26/edit?destination=admin/content/node

Permissions are set properly and 'access denied' page is shown as expected. I am unable to figure how is google able to reach edit pages?
