By default, AddToAny's self-hosted script adds a tracking pixel to map.media6degrees.com
e.g. http://map.media6degrees.com/orbserv/hbpix?pixId=2869&curl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flayrah.com%2F
A 6.4kb cookie (!) is sent along with requests to this URL. This cookie is used by Media6Degrees to track visitors to your site and sell targeted ads to them on other sites. The only way to stop them is to add a2a_config.no_3p = 1; to the options (as mentioned in issue 851680).
I am very unhappy that this is present in the script without a mention on the front page and a clear UI option to remove it. It is not something I would expect from a contributed module and degrades the percieved performance of websites using AddToAny.
I understand you want to make money, but there should be a checkbox option and clear disclosure of third-party tracking cookies. Publishers shouldn't have to notice and search to find blogs mentioning this sort of thing, or enter Javascript into the additional options box to remove it.
And seriously, try to find a partner that doesn't send stupid-sized cookies too.

zeroagain commentedThis should be done immediately and a new version should be released and it should be explicitly mentioned on addtoany project page. You must see the image attachment. Privacy is very important.
