This module seems like a good candidate for Drupal 8. It complements the concept of a hook nicely, and can be very useful for complex designs.

I have a Drupal 7 project I have just started that is going to require a lot of custom modules, and ran across your project while looking for a module that implemented anything resembling the Factory pattern. I'd like to try upgrading this to Drupal 7 and using it in my project.

It looks like this is still a work in progress. What are your plans for the future for this module? Are there any major features you have in mind that you haven't implemented yet? Are there other changes you are considering, or issues you are aware of?
