crop user pic on creation or edit

hi great module! i have this working for setting an imagecache preset for uploaded images...
i want to give users the ability to crop their picture while they upload or edit their profile pic..installed js crop action, but it never showed up when i went edit my image...any ideas?

also, on my account page the image appears without the preset applied (imagecache not invoked) ...any ideas here?
