Password change is not applied [#1044644]

For some reason, changing the password with chgpwd is just not effective.

I am using quite a wide selection of modules, including Content Profile, Login Toboggan, and some home-made that may conflict.

Any clues for starting to debug?

Please disable chgpwd module and try changing password in normal user edit page. if that doesn't work Please reopen this issue.

If "Change password" is enabled, changes don't take effect.
Disabling it will produce changing.
(Monitoring changes in the DB)

Possible conflict with modules I'm using (somehow involving user table):

Account reminder
Auto Assign Role
Content Profile
Email Registration
Inactive User
RealName

or others with side effects? Like caching modules (Boost)?
