I upgraded my personal site to Drupal 5.0RC1 and decided to add a little bit of Christmas cheer to it. All it took was making the .info and now it works just fine with my 5.0 install. See http://www.dominiklukes.net/christmassnow. I'm posting it here because the Christmas Snow project doesn't have an issue queue.

Neat little effect... it's stinkin' hard to see against the white background. ; ) (At least on my LCD... but I imagine it's the same on a CRT.)

I only wanted the effect to be subtle on my site. The original 4.7 module on http://drupal.org/project/christmas_snow has links to a demo site where it displays more prominently.

No problem. It was hard work but somebody had to do it.;) By the way, I forgot, I also changed the path to #description under the hook_help() on line 14 to 'admin/build/modules'. Although, as per http://drupal.org/node/64279#info it doesn't make any difference because the .info file contains that information so it should perhaps be removed altogether.
