It would be nice if we were given an independent choice was offered as a user-initiated button which auto-detected the browser language.
People are too busy to scroll through the long language list, usually want their native language, but are also very interested in comparing their native language with the original.
More than that is rarely used and makes for an unwieldy drop-down. It could also be made more graphically pleasing, such as the auto-detect Google translation credit .
That would be great! Thanks...

rfayUnless there's a bug, the default provided *is* the browser language. When I've tested, that's what I've already seen. So the idea is that you'd never have to even change the select unless you're translating to a different language than the browser language.
