is it possible to support [view:myview] tags in simple news newsletters and send them out to sunscribers.

It gets displayed correctly in drupal when viewing newsletters but shoes up as the raw tag.

better yet is there a php snippet to give me the last x submissions with the node titles that i can send out as a newletter

Is this kind of thing possible in Drupal 5.1 ?

I spose using a view and then cutting and pasting the generated html into simple news would be a quick and dirty work around if you get my drift...
