My view has an exposed filter with 'Taxonomy: Term ID (with depth)'. This generates a dropdown box, which is not touched by the module. See attached screendump where the second and third field are OK, but not the first one.

BTW: you can toggle the Setting Selection Type from 'autocomplete' (which works fine) to 'dropdown' via the little wheel on the right of the filter.
