I know about the theming handbook, but its a strange mixture of everything from 4.3-5.0 and its hard to tell whats current and what is obsolete. Is there some coherent guide from the ground up teaching 5.0 techniques?

But saddly it seems that, the more the question is good, the more are the chances ito never get answer... !!!

Hope that someone have information about how to easely make phptemplate themes for version 5.

I always download latest Drupal version and check its default theme before developing new theme.

In that way you can be sure that it is most recent.

Documentation is so key in bringing in designers to a CMS. If I can figure it out, I will try and help out on the documentation. What is Drupal 4.x documentation even doing mixed in with the Drupal 5 docs?
