After enabling the Tipsy module, it is only possible to choose the date_filed filter operator but the configuration values are hidden.
I´m not sure if only the date_filter is broken.

Yeah, the javascript from tipsy conflicts with the views ajaxy stuff. An easy, and relatively benign solution would be to add a field to exclude the insertion of the tipsy scripts into page.tpl according to url -- this has been done on numerous other modules, and seems to work fine, and will allow admins to enable / disable tipsy selectively based on other javascript incompatibilities in the future.

@Tim looks a messy solution to me. My suggestion is to alter an option to Tipsy to disable its features on all admin sections.
