i am working on a project in los angeles and am trying to find someone to contract to help. project involves taking current wordpress site and "converting" to drupal. in process, many features will be added.

must be wiley and creative and know how to make most of drupal. want to "do it right" -- custom code we need should be done as modules and/or allow for easy integration throughout site and with other modules. knowledge of scaling drupal (high traffic in the future? who knows!)

not scared of coding or deadlines, but should be interested in fun/community (site hopes to allow for lots of user-generated content). even better if you know your way around linux and mysql, but not a must. (i will be doing sysadmin, but its nice to have another brain if the site crashes, yknow.)

also must know how to really tweak drupal to get things to look nice (help design team build a custom theme).

right now i am just researching someone to assist me. seeing whats out there. send an ascii resume to me or just ask questions. this would be for a couple of months, or longer if you really kick butt.

I come down to MdR twice a month to see a client, and I'm typically out of MdR by 4 and in SM by 5. I've been doing MT and WP and Drupal. I'm looking at stopping at a Serenata De Garibaldi at 1416 4th St for a 5pm dinner and beer before driving north.

i should have added that i am hoping to find someone who can work at the location with us, that is, be located in l.a. sorry for not being clear on that -- i had meant the subject to imply this. no telecommuting on this one, at least not presently.
