I installed the Drupal feedback module months ago and have been very happy with its functionality. It's definitely a tool that every site should consider. Recently, though, it's clear that someone has developed an automated spambot that's periodically using the tool to send me rather vile messages.
It makes no sense to have done this since the feedback is sent directly to me via email and is never posted or shared externally. Even the messages themselves are lame! Nonetheless, it's one more email that must be deleted. I'm apprehensive about using my spam filter since I do receive a lot of genuine feedback and would hate it to go unread in a filter.
Is anyone else seeing this problem?

you may be able to add the captcha.module and enable it on the feedback module so that spambots (anon users) are forced to answer a math question previous to posting.
Another preventative measure
Another preventative measure you could take would be to use Anti-sPHPam http://sourceforge.net/projects/aspam.
I've used it before and it has significantly decreased the amount of spam my clients received. Just upload the php file and link to it.
