Hi,
thanks for your patch,
but as noted in http://drupal.org/node/773248#comment-3093306, I'm not planning to port the GeSHi node module, as it follows the outdated/deprecated model of hardcoded node types. Now that CCK is in Drupal 7 core, the GeSHi field module is the way to go.
So, you shouldn't spend your time on porting this deprecated module.
