Gambate.com is a project where user can play flash games for free. The games is hosted locally in the client webserver.

AutoThumbnailing
Generally it is better to have an auto thumbnailing feature using video module rather than use plain image for the games thumbnail, but so far I haven't found the way to do auto thumbnailing for flash swf games files, Although normal flash swf movie file will work just fine.

Games Playing
The site is aimed to be as simple as possible with just a few module to keep it lightweight. So we choose video modules to handle the flash playing and uploading. The other options to replace video module is the node flash module.

Layout
We use view + panel to layout the frontpage and game listing page, with this combination the building time can be greatly reduced since we don't have to code for layout (maybe a few line of css coding is needed).

How do I add flash games sites on my drupal site for my users to play?

use either node flash or video modules, and upload the flash games using node/add form
