It appears that this module has been deprecated and replaced by Organic Groups Registration Keys (http://drupal.org/project/og_reg_keys)
In order to guide users, it would be good to note this information in the module description and post a link to that project. Perhaps even un-recommend the 6.x beta version of this module to encourage users to use OG Registration Keys.
