Only images provided by Noggin are available in the image selection dropdown at the moment.
Wouldn't it be great if images from the theme would be listed, too?

Here is a first draft. If you palce your header images into a subdirectory of your theme called images/headers the files are listed in addition to the default ones provided by noggin.

I've made an implementation of this, mostly using the patch with slight changes to support any theme. Will commit shortly.
